A jury returned a verdict of guilty against Richard Annable on 12 counts of practicing medicine without a license and one count of theft.

Richard Annable, 47, of Medina, the owner of Bella Derm Spa in Westlake, performed various medical procedures on weight loss patients. The procedure is required to be performed by a licensed medical professional. Annable, a cosmetologist, was also charged with one count of theft for the receipt of payment for services rendered but not licensed to perform.

Sentencing by Judge Bridget McCafferty has been scheduled for February 22, 2010.
